Hi, Im Rupert. Im a documentary photographer, photo-journalist and videographer based In Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. I am currently studying at UoG, completing my degree in documentary and photo-journalism in 2026.
I come from the UK, born and raised in Cumbria, Lake District and I have always had an interest in photography and the visual arts. Beginning my photographic career after years of amateur photography 3 years ago.
I work on all mediums I can get my hands on, from 35mm, medium and large format film, to digital photography and videography.
My passion is stories, experiences and documenting them through the medium of photography, ecology, history and the human connection is something I believe to be where I am most comfortable, having an ability to connect, sympathize and explore the lives of others, to document their history and lives,
I have been published in The Guardian, The Sun, Lonely Planet and have contributed to documentary films and projects in the UK on ecology, politics, history, people and landscapes.
